On June 26th, we were very privileged to again be invited to come and sing at John 3:16 Ministries.  It was a day of "thanks" to all of their friends and they celebrated with a fishing derby for the children and a wonderful catfish dinner.  After dinner, we all gathered in the chapel and had a wonderful time in the Lord.  As I have said before and I will continue to say it over and over again, the guys at John 3:16 have such an  overwhelming praise for our Lord and Savior that it just has to be noted.  From the very first time our group sang there, we were forever changed.  Thank you, Bryan and Beverly, for all the hard work and dedication you put into this ministry.  It is a light to a lost and dying world.  May God Bless you continually in your endeavors to minister to the hurting.

On June 27th, we were honored to be invited to the celebration get-together for Bro. Bill Hattenhaurer  at the Ash Flat Commuity Center.  Bro. Hattenhaurer was celebrating 50 years in the ministry.  It was a huge turn-out and Bro. Hattenhaurer is worthy of the admiration.  May God continue to bless you, Bro. Hattenhaurer, as you continue to do His will.

On July 24th, we will be at Pleasant Ridge Community Church in Poughkeepsie with Bro. Pagan.  Please come and be in church with us.

Well, it's been a long time since I chatted with you.  It was a long winter and a hard winter.  We took a few months off; however, we did travel to Florida in Febuary and Shekanah graduated from college at the end of April.  We are back on the road again and beginning to get more and more bookings.  We were at Troutman's Chapel (Mayflower) in April, and Blackland Freewill Baptist (Oil Trough) in May.  Both places are great to minister and we truly love Bro. Keith Troutman and Bro. Adam Abel.  June is proving to be powerful.  Last Saturday night (June 12) we were at Kenwood Freewill Baptist (Morrilton) and although the church is presently without a pastor, the Holy Spirit was present and that is wonderful.  Our prayer is that God will send them a pastor real soon and the church will see much growth.  We will be at Trinity Faith Tabernacle in Greenbrier this Saturday (June 19) to do a benefit for a young lady who was injured badly in a head-on collision.  We hope that the benefit will have a great financial outcome for this young lady as well as an outpouring of God's love.  We all need that!!  On June 26, we have been invited back to John 3:16 Ministries (Charlotte) and we are so looking forward to being with the great people at John 3:16.  Bro. Bryan Tuggle is doing a great job and God is being magnified in the lives of many young men.  On June 27, we will be singing at the Community Center  in the afternoon as Bro. Bill Hattenhauer of the Ash Flat Church of God is being honored for his ministry of 50 years.  What a celebration that will be.  Bro. Hattenhauer is a great man of God.  I will update you later with more of what's happening in the lives of the Beebe Believers.  Give God the Glory!!  Brenda

I apoligize!!  Time has gotten away from me because of a very busy schedule in my life.  I want to take this time and CATCH UP!!

On October 18th, we were invited to sing at the homecoming of Amazing Grace Assembly of God in Maumelle.  Our very dear friend and pastor, Larry Skinner, always treats us just like "family", and we love Bro. Larry and the church people there.

On November 1st, it was our first time at The Remnant Pentecostal Church in Cabot, but not our first time to be service with Pastor Gary Graves.  Bro. Graves reminded us that he has been on board with the Beebe Believers since Shekanah's early, early years.  He has supported in so many ways and we love Bro. and Sis. Graves and we felt blessed to be in service with them.  We had a time!!

On November 8th, (and for the first time in three years), we sang at our home church, Beebe First Assembly of God.  Bro. Glenn Dorsey is our pastor and has been our pastor for over 25 years.  We felt loved and we felt blessed.  We need to sing there more often.

On November 12th, we sang at the Beebe Prime Timers supper.  Alvin had to be in Texas and the three girls had to "get the job done", and we found out real fast, WE NEED ALVIN.  We love you, Prime Timers!

On November 15th, we sang at the Fall Roundup at First Assembly of God in Jacksonville with Bro. Royce Lowe.  We had a great service and enjoyed a good dinner and sweet fellowship.

On December 5th, we traveled again to Lepanto Assembly of God to be in service with Bro. Gary Finley.  We sure love Bro. Gary and Sis. Paula and there are some mightly fine folks at this church.  What a good time in the Lord and such a sweet service.

We are on our way this Saturday, December 12, to be in service with Bro. Dale Carter and his new church, Harvest Fellowship in Lonoke.  We have been in several churches with Bro. Carter and he and Sis. Carter are worthy of the call.  We are looking forward to a great time.

AND REMEMBER, New Year's Eve, Ft. Reach Church with Bro. Don Hillis (501-354-5831 - call for directions).  Ft. Reach is in the Morrilton vicinity.

Until next time, Brenda

September 20 - We were in service at Mayflower Full Gospel Pentacostal Church of God with Bro. Crawford.  Our special friend, Charles Edwards, remembered us and had us booked to come and we appreciate the invitation.  We had a great time and many special prayers were heard (and Melanie, we are still believing for you).  We look forward to being with all of you again.

September 27, both the a.m. and p.m. services, we were blessed to be in service with Bro. Bob King at United Fellowship in El Paso.  Bro.  King is a "now" preacher for a "now" time.  We love the annointing and excitement we feel each time we are asked to come.  The people just make us feel so good and we feel so loved.    Bro. Bob and Kathy, we are just a phone call away.  God Bless all of you.

October 4 - Well, we got up at 5:00 a.m., and got back home after 7:00 p.m.  We ministered in the morning service at Faith Tablenacle in Clarendon with Bro. and Sis. Green.   We stayed all day for their homecoming and was ministered to by the local church and we were truly blessed.  We met so many great people, some coming as far as West Helena, and even North Carolina, to be in service with us.  What a time we had in the Lord.  We will be waiting to hear from you and can't wait to come again.  Praise the Lord.  God is Good!

Note:  Remember, Shekanah has a new CD coming out in about 4 weeks titled "Bluegrass by Request and a Little More".  This new recording will bless you and so many of you have already pre-ordered.  Please give Shekanah a call or e-mail us and we will sure get one in the mail to you as soon as they are delivered.

Until next time, Brenda

On August 30th, we were invited to Blackland Freewill Baptist Church (outside of Oil Trough) and we had such a wonderful time.  Bro. Adam Abel and everyone treated us so kindly and we, ourselves, were tremendously blessed with the moving of the Lord's Spirit.  We all left there uplifted.  There were so many young kids and they just blessed our hearts.  (I could have brought them all home).  This church had a great loss back in March when they lost one of their young ladies to an untimely death and I think everyone was just ready to give love as well as receive love.  You know there is nothing like God's love and there are no imitations to His love.  God is good!!  We hope to be invited back real soon and have Church again with all of these friends and family.

Since last entry, we traveled back to Pleasant Ridge Community Church in Poughkeepsie on July 25th.  We have been going and singing at this church for many years and we feel just like family.  Bro. Pagan and the church always greet us with "open arms".   We sure had a good time and we look forward to going again.

On August 1st, we sang for the first time at West Pine Bluff Church of God.  Bro. Scott Cox and his wife are new pastors and I believe God has something special in store for them.  It was good to worship with them and it is our prayer that God's blessings will reign.

On August 22nd, we were blessed again to be invited by Bro. Chris Foster to come and minisiter at Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church (just North of Newport) .... and we found it this time.  These people love to sing praises to our Lord and King and Bro. Chris just has the "word" overflowing in him.  We love you  (too) Sis. Michelle and all the kind folks at Hickory Grove. Thank you for your encouraging comments in our guestbook.

Next Sunday night, August 30th, we will be at Blackland Freewill Baptist Church (just out of Oil Troucgh) and (my alma mater).  Give us a call and we will tell you how to get there!

Until next time, Brenda

On May 30, 2009, we were honored to be asked by Brian Tuggle of John 3:16 Ministries to be a part of the Unity Fest held on the White River at Batesville.  There was a tremendous crowd of 4,000-5,000, and a huge catfish dinner.  The crowd was most appreciative of the fine, fine ministry and dedication to the Lord by the residents of John 3:16.  I understand the proceeds received from the Unity Fest was a great offering for John 3:16, and we count it a blessing to just be a part.  We have been privileged to sing at Charlotte for John 3:16, and, as I have said before, we were forever changed.  What a love for Jesus Christ you feel when you enter the grounds at John 3:16.

On June 28, 2009, we again sang at the Homecoming of Salado Baptist Church.  We love these people.  Bro. David is a fine man and a dedicated preacher.  We sure enjoyed his Sunday morning message.  We look forward to next year and getting to be a part of their Homecoming.  Family and friends coming together does make a difference.

July 11, 2009, HOLD ON TO YOUR SEATS!!  We sang at the United Christian Church in White Hall, and we had CHURCH.   People arrived early and waited over an hour and it blessed us so much to know that they had come expecting.  Bro. Maddox and the whole church welcomed us warmly.  The altar service was great and a soul was saved AND THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT.  We were privileged to have our producer, Mark Little, join us for the evening and he blessed the crowd with some songs.

Upcoming, we have Pleasant Ridge Community Church in Poughkeepsie on July 25th; West Pine Bluff Church of God on August 1st; Hickory Grove Baptist Church (near Newport) on August 22nd; and Blackland Freewill Baptist Church (near Oil Trough) on August 30th.  COME SEE US!!

Until next time, Brenda

May 16, 2009 - We were blessed to be in service at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Chuch in Bethesda.  Our hearts are saddened for these sweet people in that their pastor is accepting another call and will be moving to Kentucky.  He has been their pastor for several years and I know leaves a tremendous void.  We have been blessed to sing for this pastor on three different occasions and he truly has the "heart of God".  It is our prayer that New Hope will be sent another pastor real soon and I know he will be loved by this congregation.  We had a great time ministering in song and we had such an attentive crowd and they really blessed our hearts.

I apologize for being late in my blog for those of you that faithfully read it.  I was under the weather for few weeks, but I am shouting Glory now.

On March 29th, we were scheduled to be at Blackland Freewill Baptist Church (near Oil Trough) when our singing was cancelled due to the untimely death of a young woman in the church.  Our heartfelt sypmathy goes out to her family and this church.

On April 11th, we had a great time at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God with Bro. James Thomason in Cabot.  This pastor is a dear friend and an invitation to come and sing for him is always a blessing.  We had a great time!

On April 19th, we were privileged to sing at "Pastor's Appreciation Day" at Mt. Zion Church of God in Judsonia.  Bro. Bobby Majors and his wife are great people and are so loved by their congregation.  We had a great service after we had been served a wonderful dinner.  Thank you, Sis. Carolyn Wortham for the coconut cake.

On April 25th, we got to travel to Troutman's Chapel (near Mayflower) and it was our first time to be there in many years.  This was a breaking ground church for our quartet in the early years of our ministry.  Bro. Leon Troutman has passed away and now his brother, Bro. Keith Troutman, is the pastor.  Bro. Keith sure has a servant's heart.  We had a full house and we felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and we made many new friends.

On April 26th, Jerry and Tammy Sullivan, were the special guest at Troutman's Chapel and we traveled back the next night to hear them.  We were blessed by this annointed group.  Shekanah sang at half-time and at closing and it was a special treat for her.  The Sullivans were most complimentary of her talent.  We will sure try and go hear this group again.  They blessed our hearts.

Until next time,
Brenda

On March 7th, we were in service at Trinity Fellowship with Bro. Bush in Cabot.  Bro. Bush has always welcomed the Beebe Believers with open arms.  We had a good crowd and enjoyed the moving of the Holy Spirit.  We met a young man "Jimmy" who was an inspiration to us all.  He'll move mountains for the Lord someday.  Look for him.  We'll be going to Blackland Freewill Baptist Church near Oil Trough this Sunday night and we are looking forward to a great time.    I have been under the weather for the past couple of weeks and I can tell you I am ready to move my feet to a higher ground.  Until next time, Brenda
